In 2020, there was a pandemic caused by somethung called the Coronavirus. It killed quite a few people but destroyed many more people’s lives and livelihoods.
In the UK they had many slogans such as stay home.stay safe. protect the NHS.
The principle behind this was to stop the national health service being overwhelmed.
WHether you believe there was a pandemic, or it was some government conspiracy doesn’t really mattter.
For me, it meant having to rent a house in a country I didn’t live in anymore as I couldn’t leave, spending thousands I didnt want to spend and my not for profit organisation and boat being abandoned for over a year which left me penniless, and I ultimately had to sell the boat e⁴ven though I didn’t catch the virus!
So staying home and staying safe didn’t help me at all!
Let me put it this way…Being human and being alive is a risky business, but we don’t need a government to impose restrictions on our liberty to ensure our safety.
And anyway, would we have got where we are today without taking risks? Absolutely not.
So people, take risks, live life on the edge, push boundaries, jump out of planes, and never ever just stay safe.
Humanity will never evolve by staying safe.
