STOP LYING TO EACH OTHER. BE HONEST.

What is it about humans in a relationship that makes them promise to be faithful to each other, that they will always love each other, and then find someone else to either love or have sex with, but stay in the relationship, when they are clearly not relating honestly to each other?

I’m not sure if staying with the same person for a lifetime is best for humans, but who am I to judge? I have been in dozens of ‘long term’ relationships, only to leave them when I decide I want to take a different direction in life.

I have also had dozens and dozens of one night stands ..lucky me…

But the one thing I have never done is cheat on the other person, by having affairs, and lying about my feelinga or where I’ve been…

I’ve always believed honesty is the best policy, and if I want to leave the relationship I have always done so honestly, and never because I have ‘found someone else’.

Of course, people find someone new, and have stronger feelings for that person than their ex, and that’s ok, but lying and cheating doesn’t seem like a good way of getting out of a relationship…

It seems to me that this is just cowardess, because you don’t want to have conflict, or aren’t brave enough to tell that person that you don’t want to be in the relationship any more..

My advice is, be brave, and be honest, and never use the other person’s failings as an excuse as to why you’re leaving…

Be honest. And don’t create a toxic environment so that the other person leaves you before you leave them, so that you feel better…

There’s enough lies and dishonesty in the world.
