I thought I would be able to write about the project every day but it has been so stressful and so chaotic that the last thing on my mind has been writing every day!
thanks to having to move all the stuff from the boat because the management needed the yard cleared.. I ended up with all the contents of alysia put in the open getting soaked which has held me back this week..
I just can’t get organised !!
I think most people don’t realise how complex it is restoring a classic sail boat with a dog on board living on board, and trying to do painting and varnishing in the rain !
and I’m sure most people don’t care.
why would they?
I have also discovered a leak on Malayan Moon, the boat that was supposed to be my home whilst dong up Alysia .. and there is oil in the bilge.. so wother we have a leaky seacock somewhere , à leaks waste pipe, pr something more serious…
I also noticed smoke coming from the engine which could be a faulty impeller, a block in the sea water intake, a lack of pil in the engine… so many things!!
I’m not sure why I take on these highly complex projects and expect them to be done quickly, but I need to get the project running!! Before I break the bank!!
mqlayqn m0on needs electrical work done on the mast, alysia needs her electrics fully reconnected and I am running out of energy !
but I will keep going and get this new project running!!
meanwhile..storm ashley will hit us tomorrow so we are now in the inverkip hotel having a beer !
