A Unique project that follows a path from Kathmandu to Canterbury Cathedral by sailboat and on foot

A chance meeting in the foothills of Kathandu with a young refugee named Ariana in 2009 who inspired me, and others to look deep inside ourselves and ask the question “Do I know why I think the way I do, and by that knowledge how do I evolve to be of benefit to everything and everyone?”

Following that meeting I embarked on a journey of discovery, a personal deconstruction of myself, and trying to understand what it meant for me to be human, and through that insight, how I could transcend unhelpful human emotions, and anger to be the person I knew I always was under a lifetime of parental, and societal conditioning.

I realised that in order to embark on  this journey, I would have to let go of everything I ever knew and cared about, and what followed were years of pain, suffering, hurting others who loved me deeply, discarding friends, family and anyone else who got in the way of my journey – voyaging through storms and heartache… through mountainous seas, driving rain, snowstorms, deserts, and finally to England’s shores where I was born but no longer called home…

In her name I carry the eternal torch, lighting the path in front and behind me, so others may experience her pure guiding light in the eternal search for knowledge of self.

The journey continues
